A friendly face
From Porto, at home in Ponte de Lima since 2007, and glad to be the bridge between you and life in Portugal.
My story
I am originally from Porto. In 2007 I moved to Ponte de Lima, and I never left. I came for a change and found a home: the river, the old Roman bridge, the slow Sunday pace, and people who greet strangers in the street. Getting on for twenty years later, I know this place and its rhythms inside out.
Over time I kept meeting people who had moved here from abroad. They loved Portugal, but the language and the paperwork left them feeling shut out of everyday life. I realised I could be the bridge: someone patient to practise Portuguese with, and someone reliable to handle the bureaucracy that wears newcomers down.
That is what I do now, and I keep it personal and unhurried. You deal with me, not a company, and I treat every person the way I would treat a neighbour.
Why people choose me
Getting on for twenty years in Ponte de Lima. I know how things really work here, and the people who make them work.
You are never passed around. The person you message is the person who sits beside you at the bank.
I move easily between Portuguese and English, and I will never make you feel rushed or silly.
Clear estimates, fair prices, and a straight answer when something is better handled by a professional.
Whether it is language or paperwork, the first step is just saying hello.
